Formerly of Lancashire County & Stockport Borough he retired from GMP as Det Chief Superintendent.
Formerly of Lancashire County & Stockport, he eventually became head of CID in Manchester. After retiring he joined the Victim Support scheme for Greater Manchester and revitalised it. He eventually retired from there as its Chief Executive.
