  • Which? — the branch subscription is free to members

    The branch has subscribed to the digital version of the Consumers’ Association magazine Which?, and the subscription is available to branch members at no cost.

    To obtain the log-in details, email your request to the Secretary.

    This is for our members only, and the password is changed regularly.

  • NARPO travel insurance: what changes under the new policy

    Towergate announced on 4th March 2022 that they have negotiated a new travel insurance policy for NARPO members. Full details have not been announced, but the following differences are apparent:

    • Everyone will be required to provide all medical information requested.
    • Premiums will be individually assessed, but members receive a 5% discount on standard rates.
    • Annual multi-trip cover will not be provided on renewal or proposal after the age of 85 — but single-trip policies will be available up to the age of 115.

    If you hold an annual policy it is worth checking these terms against your renewal before you travel.
